I have one shaft inside a tube. The tube is mounted in bearings.
I need a linkage that when moved by a linear actuator, will turn the inside shaft 25°. Then once the inside shaft has turned 25°, the outside shaft will also turn in conjunction until they have both turned another 20° then stop...
I occasionally use SWX 2006 and a customer is having trouble with a large file that I sent him. The file on my PC is an assembly of subassemblies that I made a long time ago. The assemblies are saved in three different folders. He wants me to use "pack and go" to make a zip file for him.
What...
We manufacture plating barrels and have a customer that wants us to apply our SprayThru system to one of their barrels for testing. They will manually connect a hose from the pump to the quick connection on the side of the barrel.
I need to know how to be able to assure them that the flow...
I am building some equipment for use in Canada and it must comply with CSA. The motor/reducer being used is 42VAC/3PH and will be controlled by a VFD. The data plate on the motor shows 4.9 Amps with a SF of 1.0.
I don't have a copy of their code, but will purchase one as a last resort as we...
I am looking for a wiring diagram that uses two relays with inputs from a PLC that would reverse a single phase gearmotor. The gearmotor will open and close a door with a limit switch at each end to stop the door when it is at the end of its travel.
There is a link below to the manufacturers...
I need a simple circuit that will indicate when a gear has stopped rotatong. This is a polypropylene gear that has one or more short metal rods imbedded in it.
In the past I have used the metal with a proximity switch to count the gear speed by an output to a PLC.
On the current project...
I have an application using a 24VDC/20AMP permanent magnet 56C faced motor coupled to a reducer. I want to add a spring actuated/electrically released brake between them. The problem is, my customer wants to run the motor at different voltages to get different output speeds at the reducer.
The...
This question is somewhat in relation to a previous post of mine, http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=222218&page=1
Is there a simple circuit that no matter which direction the input polarity was connected, the output would always be the same?
I need some help with a simple LED application.
I want to be able to switch one of two strips of LEDs on and off to indicate rotation of a gear. The gear has a cam that moves a lever arm on a switch. That part is simple.
The gear is driven by a 24 VDC motor that can rotate forwards or backwards...
Does anyone know of a company that makes a speed control for small DC motors that has a 115 VAC input and a 12 or 24 VDC regulated output? This would be for motors that use less than 2 amps.
Thanks in advance for any help.
The controller mentioned in the subject line is no longer available. What can I use as a substitute? The Omron unit was very easy to adjust for my customers, not requiring any formal training. It merely sensed input, and provided outputs, and operated on low voltages so it was safe.
Any help...
Do any of you have any experience with a web site called PumpBiz.com?
I have seen it, and it really looks professional, but I wondered what others thought.
Thanks in advance.
