Would a length dimension ever be modified by MAX? Because zero (0) is less than the MAX would that be acceptable?
I could understand a corner with a R.020 MAX meaning that a near-sharp corner is just as acceptable as R.020.
So in what other applications would the MAX modifier be used...

I have a welded assy where two components are line-on-line. Is the fact that they are line-on in the dwg descriptive enough or would some GD&T be needed? I had thought of a profile tolerance of the entire surface. Would a note, such as, "surfaces flush" be adequate?
