    Hi, I am comverting a single axle trailer with a weight capacity of 1700 pounds, into a dual axle trailer. The second axle has a rated weight capacity of 800 pounds. Before I make the conversion I wanted to know whether or not the weight capacities would combine to make a total of 2500 pounds...
