The Client Specification requires that laboratory test of Resistance to Abrasion (the loss of weight that shall not exceed 10 mg/1000 turns) be applied to 3PE coating for 24'' pipline.
Is the above test a regular practice because it sounds strange to me? The pipeline is normal underground ...
Could anyone help me know what International or Industy Standard should be applied for FBE coating in terms of shop application and testing? 400um FBE coating is specified for underground bends in our Libya project.
