    New slab on grade on top of existing one.

    Hi, There is an existing unreinforced slab on grade that has some light cracks. Expansion joints are spaced about 12 ft in both directions.     Hi, Do you know if there is a limitation for the max. BPF for offshore hammers?. Sometimes I have read 240 BPF and others 150 BPF. Is this a specification from the manufacturer of the hammer?. Thanks

    Trapezoidal tank for oil storage

    I would like to know if Appendix 13 of ASME VIII Div. 1 could be used for the structural design of this tank. The tank is aboveground and used for oil storage, hence subjected to hydrostatic pressure. I did a search for any related standard applicable to trapezoidal tanks but had no luck. Thanks.
