Does anybody knows any formulas to calculate the amount of welding material used when welding pipe. The used weld is a V-shape and a X-shape weld.
I want to calculate the amount of material when welding pipe. I know the pipe diameter and the wall thicknes.

I got information from a client about the following materials
Titanium
Alloy20
Hasteloy276
but they can't tell whether it is:
Schedule 10 or 10S
Schedule 40 or 40S
Schedule 80 or 80S
Can somebody please tell if these materials are available on the markets in the first schedule (10, 40, 80) or...
Can somebody tell me the factor I have to apply when I convert a labour norm for Carbon Steel for making a weld to a labour norm for the following materials:
