    Corrosion guide for 50/50 mix of salts Sodium Nitrate & Potassium Nit

    Hi, I have number of tanks where electric heaters are required to heat salts. Medium is 50/50 mix of Sodium Nitrite (NaNO2) & Potassium Nitrite (KNO3), operating @ +260C. Is this mix severly corrosive? Are SS316 sheath elements & Flange OK for this application. Thanks Fasi Rahman
