Can you extrude to non-planar surfaces in Inventor? I'm new to the software (typically a Solidworks user) and am running into brick walls when I try to extrude solids or surfaces to non-planar complex surfaces.
Has anyone taken the Advanced COSMOSWorks Designer Specialist Exam yet? Any thoughts? I went through the practice exam and it seems pretty straight forward. My only complaint is that I have the exact specs they quote in the sample exam on my computer and the simulations take about 3-4 minutes...

Does anyone know how to get a point cloud of a surface from an existing solid model? I don't have Solidworks Premium, so unfortunately, I don't have the Scan 2 3D function.
