    Keeping it real in 3D

    Hi! Is there a trick for dimensioning in a 3D sketch? I finally had to create an "offset/through point" plane to dimension the true distance in X. It kept wanting to grab a vertex, edge, or face, and create a kittywompus dimension! Ken

    What's a body?

    So I'm trying to relearn SW, and have come across "bodies" in the Tickoo book. Now, I know sketches are used to make features, which make components, which make assemblies. So what the heck is a body??? Thanks a million! Ken

    3rd angle default help

    I get a message saying the search feature is down. I tried! When I open a drawing, the default is 1st angle projection. Could someone tell me how to make ALL drawing sheet sizes default to 3rd angle? I haven't been able to figure it out, and I thank you in advance. Ken
