    MATLAB to control the serial port voltage

    Hi i m trying to control(ON/OFF) a LED using the serial port on the MATLAB .. up till now all i found that the MATLAB only sends a string or binary to the port can anyone help me on how to control the voltage on the serial port pins ? thanks in advance Hisham
