Methods to Reduce Infiltration Rates
Greetings. I'm interested in reducing the natural infiltration rate of sandy soils from several feet per day to say 2 inches per day. I need to pump from a lake over a levee to another impoundment. The pump will be placed on top of the levee. Static head on suction side of pump is 23.5 ft. Length of suction line is about 250 ft. Discharge is about 300 ft from pump and elevation drops 10 ft from pump to point of discharge...- ckeller
