    Cast iron resisting liquid zinc

    An ingot rotating distributor, wheel shaped is currently made in DI (sg )ferritic iron but it is corroded by liquid zinc supposed to be transferred to ingot molds. Any suggestion for a different cast iron or alternative material? Thanks Julio

    Alloy for high temperature application

    Fixed shovels attacched to the wall in rotary furnaces with operating temperatures around 1.200°C (2,200°F)where expanded clay balls are produced. They must resist also to abrasion. Which alloy (possibly not from NASA applications) could be adequate? Thanky you Julio
