Dear Sir,
Please Tell me , How to calculate Wave Length based on Skjelbreia, L. & Hendrickson, J. A., Fifth order gravity. wave theory.
Since this requires wave length as input to start further calculation.
Thanks

Dear Sir,
As per modified morisons equation to calculate forces on members due to wave load,
Fm = row*V*a+row*Cm*Vr*ar --- DNV 6.1.2 (classification note 30.5), if the member or structure vibrates under impact of wave.
ar=relative acceleration (bwt structure and wave)
we can calculate waves...
I have a doubt in buyaoncy force calculation,
We know buyonacy force for solid object = weight of fluid displaced by body.
will it be different for a closed or sealed hallow object. please clarify me.
and please illustrate me with a numerical example.
What is marine growth? how to account that in anlysis?
is it just direction addition of weight to the structure and can we account its mass in seismic case?
Can any body give me some reference which gives solved problems for calculating wave, current load, water slamming load and earthquake load on offshore structure or sub sea structure.
Can any one tell me how to calculate seismic forces based on NORSOK and recommend me some text book based on Norwegian code book or NORSOK for seismic calculation
