In a part, when I right click on material in the feature tree, I can no longer edit the material. The only options that pop up are hide/show, collapse and customize.
How do I turn this back on.
Thanks
Thomas
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any good places to get solids of Dewalt drills. I'm working on a custom case and I'm trying to save some time and money by not having to buy and model them myself.
The Kit is DCK955X for reference.
Thanks for your time
Thomas
Trouble making a weldment path on a lofted face. I made a lofted face and sketch planes. I cut the face at each plane and made sketch from the edge of the face. The sketch line is a dashed spline That I cannot use for a path. How do I work around this?
My company is looking for a new large format printer. We currently use an Epson stylus pro 9000 but it's reaching the end of it's life cycle. I've found a couple Hp's for around 4k that were looking at and the would be the top of our price range.

I use solidworks for everything. I'm starting to see a need to insert my designs into a photo to sale to clients. Most of my friend that do this use Google sketch and skin it. My designs are mechanical designed, does anyone use sketch up and can give me limitations on it?
I've been doing a lot of weldments as of late and creating my own profiles. These are all for handrails. In the part, it's rendering all the hidden lines visable even through a shaded drawing. I have all the hidden lines turned off too. This seems like a random event, it doesn't happen all the time.
I have a large assembly that I need to add some bolt holes to. Is there a way I can add these to the assembly so they will show up on the individual parts without editing each part?
I don't know if this is an appropriate thread for this forum but I can't really think of a better group to ask. My company uses autocad for the most part and has 2 seats of solid works. I'm trying to get them to upgrade all seats to solidworks and have to write a proposal consisting of cost...
My company list detailed revisions on drawings in a format like:
c 5/05/07 9058 was 9500354 TS
B 9/08/02 8535 changes per pilot run CF
A 4/06/99 5536 release for production SL
What would be the best way to automatically update every drawing (revision list) effected by the revision...
