I have a SW2005 sp01.1 file that shows a tolerance in "view only" or preview that changes when the file is opened to edit. How is that possible? I sent the "view only" drawing as a pdf to vendor who caught the mistake. When the drawing is opened for editing it is correct.
I'm looking for a way to design springs with configs that have "free lgth", "installed", "actuated", etc, as configs.
This takes quite a bit of setting up to make it work. Surely there is a template available for say, compression springs, extension springs, etc.
I have multiple sheets in the project drawing (castings, details, assemblies, etc). I have an existing detailed drawing that I want to add as "insert sheet". I can insert a view, but not the corresponding sections, details, etc. Is there any way to do this?
To transmit 15hp for 1500 hours, I'm looking at:
16/32 pitch, 24 teeth
External spline length = .50 inch
1 7/16 nominal shaft, steel, 6 inch long
spline approx in middle of shaft
1 7/16 ductile iron round hub, 2 inch wide
Internal spline length = 2 inch
Must slide back and forth 1.2 inches...
One component of a large assembly was converted to SW2004 sp01. I need to get it back to 2003 sp3.1 rather than recreate from scratch. Is there any way to do this?
