Anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? Its not hard to turn them back on (why aren't they ALWAYS on anyway?), but its annoying as hell.

1. I've been saving the weldment and a parasolid then re-importing it as a single part. Is there a way around this? Perhaps the full version of Femap? Does it let you analyze assemblies? If so, how much does that...
If I bring in a part as a .step, the reference planes are located off to the side. Is there a way to reposition them in the center of the part? Is there a way to create a second set of reference planes?
