How do I import mesh from promechanica to Patran.
Proe used as a modelling package seems better for fabrication - in 3D. It should be possible to weld plates mesh and preprocess with Patran. I have had a problem with using the BOOLean operation on Fabrication with patran.

I have imported a parasolid from Pro Engineer, I want to model a weld on the adjacent plates and 3D mesh using PATRAN. I have used BOOLEAN operation in Patran. But it does operate well to some few plates and then just refuse to work to some other adjoining plates. WHAT IS THE BEST APPROACH.
