Sometimes I have an issue with a reference curve in a sketch.
For example:
I have part someone else designed. There is a sketch used for extrude 1.
For extruded one, I do not want to select the reference curve. Great everything works fine.
At a later time, I need to modify this...
When I delete a component in an assembly it breaks the link. But there is still a reference to the parent part.
How to I remove the reference to the parent part?
I am using NX 8.5 :-(
Is the are was to remove or replace the last 2 charters of a part attribute.
For example in Excel I can use the SUBSTITUTE command like this:
=SUBSTITUTE("DRAWING_D10",10,20)
and the value in the cell would be DRAWING_D10

In Sketch
When I use the Fillet Method Untrim. The constraint point on curve is missing.
In NX6 I would get tangent constraints and point on curve. Now in NX85 I just get the tangent constraints.
Is there some fix for this?

If I click on two curves in Sketch the Shortcut Toolbar shows up with constraint options.
If I move my cursor the "wrong" way the Shortcut toolbar.
Is there a way I can make the Shortcut Toolbar show up again without un-selecting the curves and reselecting the curves?
