Forgive my ignorance but can anyone explain to me why the axial and lateral equivalent youngs modulus for a solid circular pile is simply equal to the youngs moduls assumed for the concrete ??
i.e. using PIGLET manaul Ep (Lateral) = EI/pi x r^4/4

Using SlopeW 2004, I am trying model water against the slope using the zero strength model, which allows only the stress imparted on the slope into the calc.
However I am getting failure through the zero strength material !! anyone ever heard or come across this issue before in SlopeW?
