Recently I found that two almost sister vessels, one ice class 1A and the other one common, with the same propellers..
All i know is that CLASSIFFICATION SOCIETY for ICE CLASS 1A
REQUIRES blade thikness bigger and different fitting...

I am being proposed to fit antistowage/anti drug trafficing grating to the rudder trunk of some vessels.
So i have some questions concerning..
1. The minimum size of the openings
2. The type grating (metal bars or checker plate)
Do you have any idea about that? any proposal?

Can anybody give me any advanced cause about the continuous damage of diaphragms(reinforced) of pneumatic control valve used for boiler feed water? (reverse acting,air quality good)
