    thread rolling stainless steel

    hellow everyone,emimec here.my problem is i am thread rolling 304 s/s parts for a customer,10-32 unc by 2.9 inches long .on a manual capstan lathe ,spindle speed 750 revs.my thread rolls dont last very long 800 parts per set.this makes the job very expensive.what can i do to increase parts per set.
