Does any one have experience with paper bag tubing and collating equipment? It's rather specialized equipment so there doesn't seem to be many manufacturers out there. Please let me know of any manufacturers who currently make this type of equipment and good/bad experiences with them.

Hi. I'm designing a shaft that will be oscillating +/- 15 degrees and I'd like to determine the fatigue strength of the shaft. The problem is that all the equations and information that I can find(Shigley mostly) is for rotating beams with fully reversed stress, not oscillating motion.

I'm looking for a hand retractable spring plunger that locks in both the extended and retracted positions. I've already checked with Southco, Vlier, JW Wincoa and a couple of others. Does anyone know who makes such a thing? Most of the plungers on the market can lock when retracted only.
Thanks!
I have an assembly that is using industrial airbags to pivot parts about a shaft. The air bags need to extend and retract while pivoting about 30 degrees. What is the best way to model this? I looked into flexible component modeling, but they can't be kinematically dragged. Any ideas?

I'm working on an application using pneumatics in a plant that will have airborne cement dust. Does anyone have practical tips for what works and what doesn't in this type of environment? I'm especially concerned about the cylinders, valves, bushings, and bearings(esentially anything that...
I'm looking for the AutoCAD command that can trim off lines outside a selected object. It's similar to the CLIPIT command, but it trims all crossing lines with a single selection. It's not VCLIP or XCLIP either.
I recently got a new computer and I forgot to save off the button I had created...
I have some formed parts that don't display the edges near the bend in the isometric view of the drawing. Is there a config.pro option that controls the display of the edges?
Thanks in advance,

I am having a strange problem when I use refedit to edit a block. When I edit the block and save the edit, the block scales itself to some random scale(always smaller) and is moved from it's original location. I can get around it by exploding the block, but I'd like the get to the bottom of...
I am working on a project where I need to pick a fiber(or corrugated) paper slip sheet with a robot. Does anyone know of a sensor that would detect if multiple sheets were picked? It would be best if it would be non-contact and only need to see the sheet from one side. Any ideas? Thanks in...
