    Hermetic joining of AlBeMet to dissimilar materials

    I am attempting to join small diameter AlBeMet (aluminum beryllium alloy) and sapphire tubing. Brazing in dry hydrogen with AuGe has been met with limited success and relatively weak joints. Any process suggestions or reference materials would be appreciated.
