I am going to build a turbo manifold from butt weld fittings (1 1/2" NB SCHD 10)
I can get 321 fittings in normal or high carbon (which the specs say is for greater strength). However 304L is recommended over 304 for lower temperature applications where the low carbon content is benifical.

I have built a one off exhaust system and the sections of pipe and manifold are joined with bolt together flanges.
I would like suggestions as to how to seal these flanges. My thoughts are for a silicon sealer, gasket sealer or a gasket material.

I am trying to source TK7 fuel additive here in the UK. All my websearchs and communication with the manufactures have come to nothing. Emails are returned, address unknown.
