does any one have a sheet for converting, HDPE/PVC OD sizes to Ductile Iron (dn) sizes?
Ie if I have a 225mm HDPE pipe what size connection of DI would connect into that - (using an aquagrip flange adapter etc) would it be around 200mm (dn) DI?
Wondering if anyone could help?

Really basic embarassing Question.
Want to do a check on some of my modelling outputs. does anyone have a tried and trusted method to calculate Qbar for a small area (less than 100 hectares) for 1/30 year, 1/50 and 1/100 year? we have rainfall for these storms.

Have been approached regarding connecting a 2nd pipeline into a proposed foul Sewer Main. - I can only see this occuring by several ways:
1. connecting the extra pipes under pressure using another pump station.
2. finishing the first pumped section into a wet well then using a 2nd pump station...
Looking into building a pump station in a floodplain - bad practice but is there any Methods used? already looked at providing bunds around the perimeter of the PS, and also raising the hieght of the slab, and manhole, and waterproofing the kiosk.
I am currently designing 3km's of Rising main - yes way too long!!, and need info on using HPPE pipes and how you go about jioning/welding, laying them - as the contractor hasn't used them b4!!!!
