When organizing the documents, I sometimes find that the client need "Approved" valve. Although colleague explain that it means approved by BP or Shell, I would like to know more about it. But I cannot get any information from BP or Shell website.

Recently I am interested in NACE, lots of petroleum and natural gas pipeline valve need manufactured in terms of it. I am wondering how a company identify its capacity to implement NACE, or it could be provided authorized certificate by this organization similar as API6D monogram.
