I am trying to calculate effective shear strain-rate (€bar) for a non-newtonian flow from shear strain-rate (€) variable of CFX; "sstrnr". The relaton is ;
€bar = sqrt(2/3 €ij €ij) , ij are indexes
However i dont know what "sstrnr" gives? A vector or a matrix? Can anyone help me...

I used solid70 to model the data and applied convection on areas at some parts of the outer surface areas. Meshing is free with tets. The solution is nonlinear.
I want to find out the total heat (Joule or Btu) transferred to the system...
