    If i am given the surface area of a shell and tube HX, does it mean total tube surface area or does is also include inside shell surface area.

    Oil recovery system

    Can anyone explain to me the difference between an oil recovery system using an eductor (hot gas driven) vs an oil distiller? I am not really an HVAC guy but involved in a chiller assigment. Am I right in assuming that the eductor system will boil off any refrigerant in the mixture? thanks
