    Thermowell Adapter for 1.25-18NEF Straight Thread connection

    I have tanks which I am installing temperature probes in. The existing thermowells on the tank are 1.25-18NEF Straight thread. Where can I get an adapter for this thread connection so I can install a normally threaded RTD probe.

    What is the recommended pipe schedule for 220 lb steam line

    I am re-routing an existing 3/4" high pressure (220lb)steam line. The old line is sch 40 and appears to be badly deteriorated. Do I replace the pipe with sch 40 or do I go to sch 80. The existing fittings were 300#.
