I'm trying to model a simple pipe (ie circular profile) with mitres corners.
The centre curve is not continuous in tangency, nor planar.
For a profile other than a circle, I understand that a reference surf or a pulling direction is required.
But for circular profile, there is a simple...
Do anybody know a way to choose the default orientation of a view ?
Because, in a rotated a view all the center lines/axis/2 component are coming in the former orientation.
It could be usefull to get these in the sheet orientation.
To make drawing (even section cuts) of largy assy or CGR files, you can use the approximate drawing option :
Option/mechanical design/drafting/view/view generation/approximate
It will avoid a lot of crash and "command interrupted" !
(V5 can not deal with more than 1G/1.5G of memory)
Does anybody has already try to extract any point/surf/lines from .cgr models ?
I've received models form a client in .cgr but then it's impossible to extract any infos except a visualization...
