    Solenoid valve symbology: detented coil on a two-position single-coil spring-return valve?

    Why does the valve in the attached picture (Hidraman SWH-G02-B2S-D24-20) appear to show a detent on the 'a' solenoid coil, when the 'b' side is spring return? I cannot see how that would be useful. Am I misreading the symbols? If that is supposed to be a spring on the left, rather than a...
