I am having problems understanding how one could make a dyno pull from low engine rpm to high engine rpm at full throttle on an old braked(telma) chassis dynamometer.
What should be done to the brake when making such a pull.
Could someone give a hint?

I am thinking of using an rotational torque transducer from some brand to measure the outgoing torque at the end of an rotating axe. There will be no external load at the end of the axe. Will this work? Or do I have to put the torque sensor between the axe and an external load (flywheel) or...
