Looking at the V/Hz setting on a generator relay I believe the setting to be suspect. they use a inverse time curve for the V/Hz trip which has a delay of 45 seconds!!!!!!!
At this time delay, the relay would not trip until 2.3 minutes has passed at 115% pick up!!! The settings of this relay...
I tried searching the IEEE website but I could not browse it as it is acting funky. I do have a user name and password but still....the site isn't working for me.
Anyway I have a bunch of standards filled away but they are not labled by title they are labled by standard number...I.E...
I am currently looking for the Over Excitation curves for a Ferranti-Packard Transformer. I am not asking any of you to find me the curves or anything. I am trying to find there home page so I can get a contact, but I am having trouble.
Does anyone know if they were bought out? Powels maybe...
I am currently developing the settings for a GE Transformer relay. The transformer is connected to a generator and I have to develop settings for over excitation protection. The relay offers overexitation protection by tripping on Volts/Hz or by tripping on the 5th harmonic level. Is there an...
My company has just recently tested a bunch of Trafag gas density monitors. At a nominal 20 degrees C (68 F) The set point (closes a b finger contact) is at 50 psig and the reset point (opens the contact back up) is at 57 psig. leaving a dead band of 7 psig from set to reset pressures. The...
