I decided to start a new post for this question, with a title more adequate about what we are discussing.
Hope is OK for you.
As far as I understand, this “hourly detail view” is only to calculate the peak coolling loads(am I wrong?), because to do a simulation for the 8760 hours of the year...
For those who (like myself), were looking for some help in hydronic system design and balancing, this link might me a good start(it's from the Swedish manufacturer TA):

When we estimate (or calculate) the cooling loads of a series of spaces located in several facades, we obtain the peak load for a certain hour of the day.
However, it's posible that not all the spaces have a peak load at that hour of day.
In that case the peak load, may not be the sum of the...
Where I work, we have an HVAC sytem with a single air cooled Chiller.
The Chiller as two identical COPLAND reciprocating compressors.
The Chiller capacity is controlled via the demand side.
We can only establish a set point in the entering water not in the leaving water.
With this strategy...

This is a very good report comparing the features of 20 Building Energy Simulation Programs.
Anyone as any experience in some of this programs?

Hello:
I have to design an AC system for a gym.
There's no significnat sensible loads from outside, only from the people.
According to my calculations I have a SHT at design condition of 0.28. Coil load is about 15kW.
At part load, SHF can be as high as 0.9(few people in the gym, and not much...
