I am designing a lot of stainless parts in a machine that will be subject to cleaning with chlorine bleach and 70% iso-propyl alcohol/water. Try as we might to design them out there still are a few crevice areas that will occasionally be exposed to the cleaners.
A lot of visual value as well...
I am working on a pharmaceutical project involving some machined and some formed and welded parts. I am wondering if I need to bear the expense of the 316L or can I manage with the 304. The environment is mostly dry, but is exposed to cleaners (isopropyl alcohol, and mild bleach solutions)...
Can someone help refresh my memory on calculation fo Explosive limits? I have a 200 cubic foot enclosure. What volume of Isopropyl aclohol liquid would I vaporize to get to 2.5%V/V in that enclosure.
Thanks in advance for your help on this.
