What is "( slope transition"? Where and how do I verify this requirement? It is at road intersecting each other or road changing direction or changing width. from two lanes to one?
Any help? Is it different than longitudinal slope?
I have transporter requirement for vertical curve is 7.5" in 50'.
I have A&E report showing profile of vertical . I need help to verify requirement.
Attached is the profile.
Any help will be appreciated...
How do I provide transition between two roads with elevation difference of 5'. My transporter
can accommodate 7.5" drop in 50' length. Roads intersect at 90 degree and I don't have enough horizontal distance available for vertical curve to accommodate 5' drop.
Is there any way method to...
I am looking for some guidance on crawler crane.
Customer wants to use crawler crane on 12" thick concrete slab on grade with soil bearing pressure of 3000PSF.Crane can put a load of 4000psf on concrete slab. Is there any specific design requirement to check slab for crawler crane load?
I am not a civil engineer and need some help in cost.
Is there any way we can estimate the 24' wide street with 24" dia. culvert pipe/mile?
Appreciate any help.

I need at least3'x3' cribbing under outrigger pad to transfer the load to supporting slab
Question is if feet has rubber (with ribs like car tires) pads as load transferring surface, the damping can reduce impact load or the cribbing requirements?
Thanks for help.
I need to fill the approximate 3'x3' opening in existing slab.
The slab is designed for 25 psi ultimate loading and is 9" thick with #6 rebar's T/B each way.
Any suggestion for designing the area? I can drill and use dowels in existing slab but area is small for matching existing reinforcement...

I have pipes/conduits penetrations core drilled in blast/containment wall up to 5" dia. Anybody come across to seal the penetration subjected to 3.5 psi pressure? Temporary or permanent solution. I will appreciate any help.
