I have the assignment to figure out how to put over 10000 assembly cuts into a large assembly. 1st assembly gets about 300 cuts or holes, we have not decided which will be better. That assembly is assembled to the next level and it will get 500 more cuts or holes and so on. When I am thru there...
Does anyone know how to put hatching on layers so it can be blanked for a stupid engineer, or how to totally eliminate them from a view. He only wants them in certain views. God I love my JOB.

I have a large assembly (memory usage 1.8 gig when retrieving) If I use a simplified rep using Grafics rep or geometry rep will this help me to work on the assembly better or is there a easier way.
Second question is what is the best way to create them.
