Does anyone have recent costs utilizing methods for backfilling drifts, stopes, etc. For example, the use of cementitous tailings materials as part of a mine closure program. Thanks
I am looking for a well-designed concrete plug for a draining mine adit. My plans are to "sandwich" the concrete in a acid-resistant polyurethane foam blanket due to the very low pH of the draining water.
Anyone out there with experience in sampling a gold placer using a sonic drill? My concern is the effectiveness of sample recovery, especially if the gold particles are very fine. Thanx
Evaluating a mine tailings deposit in Brazil at an isolated site. Need portable drill rig capable of punching through tailings deposit & sometimes water pockets to recover sample at 30m depth. I've heard that GeoProbe works well. Can't find one locally, anything else? thanx
