I have a client asking about the AED resistance of an O-Ring in a 4" 150" Ball Valve (client is conservative Supermajor). Everything I have ever seen on ED is that it only affects valves in high pressure gas service, and I have as a general rule only been concerned with it in valves over 600#...
By defination the stub ACME thread form has an included 29 degree angle. Does anyone have any experience in rounding slightly the upper crests of the thread to break the resulting shart corner?
How much rounding can you do and still conform to the standard?

I have a client looking for spares for a 3/4" 2500# GBV Ball Valve. These are not Watts. I can't find any info on these guys on the web, and was hoping someone might know where to find them.
