Strange Fittings on Siemens Turbine Control Oil

We have a Siemens steam turbine on our site. The control oil piping/tubing for the turbine has some strange tube fittings. They are not swagelok or anything else that we recognize. Does anyone else know what they are or where I can get more? See the attached closeup pictures

    Deluge for Cryogenic Pumps

I am a plant engineer and I have been asked to look at installing a deluge system on the flash drum pumps of our coldbox. The pumps operate at around -40 degrees. Every other major set of pumps in our plant was built with a deluge so I'm thinking there must be a good reason for not installing...

Replacing some old 5Cr Valves with 2-1/4Cr

We are replacing some old 5Cr Gate Valves. Operations has requested Ball Valves since they are easier to operate. The only ball valve I can find that meets all of our requirements is only availabe in 2-1/4Cr. The 2-1/4Cr material (A217-WC9) has higher allowable stresses than 5Cr (A217-C5) at...

    A106 for Spent Catalyst Lines

I am told that A106 is typically used in Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units (FCCU) for unloading spent catalyst from the regenerator to a spent catalyst hopper. These lines run at around 1100 degrees F. Most would agree that A106 is not appropriate for these temperatures. I assume that A106 is...
