Would anyone know of a good referance for calculating the vibration on adjoinging buildings from Pilling (vibro compaction - stone replacement columns)?
An architect would like to put his radon barrier (DPM) through my RC wall. THey will seal around the bars with a bithutene.
I have not seen this before, but he said it is common.

While inspecting a collapsed ceiling (suspended plaster) I noticed hairline cracking accross the soffit of a concrete flat slab. The cracks where about 200mm apart and where approximatly uniform running with the span.
My assumption is that these are tension cracks on the line of the slab...
