On a standard Francios Vane the type impeller I have read that the curvature reduces the shock losses of the liquid going though the impeller and by imparting kinetic energy to the liquid, the head is increased toward the OD of the impeller.My question is this... How is the pressure head created...
I was wondering if anyone could help me with improving the TDH of a standard End suction pump with a closed impeller?
A brief history:
The pump has a full size impeller
The speed conforms to the speed of the sales curve.
The Pump delivers 5m head lower then the performance curve ..at Shutoff...
