Does anyone know of a low cost, easy to use drawing software for fasteners? Looking to make simple drawings for screws, nuts, bolts, studs, etc. I am hoping there is software out there that already has the fasteners with the various head styles, etc that is simple to use.
We have a 9/16-18 wheel bolt with a straight knurl under the head. What is the typical interference? The low diameter over the knurls is 0.6305. Approximate contact length in the mating part is 0.065 (steel is 1/8" thick and 0.060 max length under head to start of knurl).

Can anyone provide guidance to the use of a 6061-T6 aluminum rivet? We have a customer who has trouble installing (not holding in place). Our customer supplied the drawing, which specifies a shank diameter of 0.576-0.595. We do not know the actual hole size, but believe they may have a larger...
We have supplied 6061-T6 solid alum rivets (5/8" dia) to our customer (T6 condition at their reqest) and they crack during assembly. Is there any published information regarding riveting this material? I am concerned the T6 condition is too hard.
