I have the part in the picture and I have to get the true position of the segments as indicated. Datum B is the top plane created across the segments and Datum C is indicated on the picture. I'm usually using the CMM to only compare to file and simple measurements, not familiar with GDT...
Link TO MACRO
I was wondering if the macro in this thread could be modified to only use selected dimensions rather that all dimensions within a print? I don't always want to add inspection numbers to every dimension on a print.

I thought I had done this in the past and can't seem to figure out why I can't do it now. Can it be done? I know I can drag a view in the tree and drop it into another print but I want to keep the original view on that print as well. The reason for it is to do a more detailed view in larger...
Doesn't seem to work correctly anymore. Can't create origins from sketched entities or points. What do you do when the part doesn't lend itself to a circle in the center of the part to set your zero to?
setting up a new workstation and was wondering where the files are typically located for my workspace environment including customized toolbars and their locations? If I don't need to go back through it again I'd rather not.
I'm not up to speed on my vbasic but I'd like to have a way of selecting a dimension from my drawing and with a single keystroke have it change to bold italic from it's current attributes. Any help would be appreciated.
I was trying to create a custom material library which had my standard materials I use in designing molds. In this library I used custom properties to fill in the information I wanted from the material like Hardness. I was hoping I could create my model, assign the material to it and then when I...
I have a part that I am going to design a mold for and I know that this particular part is going to go through multiple changes and I'm forced to have to start the mold design because of timing. I want to design it from the start where if I get a new model I can replace the existing model and...
I have been to three suppliers of seals in my area and not one of them can get these seals. Can someone tell me where they can be purchased? possibly a link to the manufacturer?
I just installed a new computer with XP Pro the same thing my old computer was using and I installed my print server and the drivers for the plotter and also installed SW2008 and running at the latest service pack now I can't get my plotter to print without cropping off the bottom of my prints...
Well this used to be quite simple in 2007 and I can't find the easy way to change this without going under options and setting my angular tolerance to zero decimal places. In 2007 you could change it once you created it from 2 decimal points to none, am I missing something here in 2008?
Anyone else having problems with this version crashing all the time? I have both 1.1 and 2.1 loaded and some files I try to open and 2.1 crashes every time and 1.1 opens them like clockwork. Yesterday I tried 2.1 all day and counted 16 crashes by noon, today I'm using 1.1 and I haven't had a...
I'm just getting around to updating my SW to 2008 and I see that the bounding box macro no longer works and comes up with a runtime error 91', anyone know what needs to be done to fix it? Worked fine in 2007. I've tried pulling the macro back off the internet and still the same thing.
Can a dimension be created to make the circumference of a circle driven? For instance if I wanted to easily draw a circle that measures 20 inches around the circumference can I add a dimension that allows me to specify the 20 inches rather than me calculating the actual diameter or radius? Maybe...
Is there a macro or a way to automatically measure the extents of a part? If so can those values automatically be added to a custom property to be used in a BOM for rough stock sizes?
I've seen this somewhere before but why does a file keep getting increasingly larger in size when nothing is being done to justify it. I've been working on a part that is fairly simple (compared to what I normally work on) and added a core feature to it and then resaved it and the file shot...
I can't find a way to do this and was wondering if I can? Can I scale my screen image to view full scale? I'm still looking but everyone here is great in responding quickly and can probably save me some time.

Question is:
When set to full hardware excelleration I lose all my graphics in things like the view pallet, all prints and all the icons on file open are blank. What I mean by prints is...
Is there a way to save out only one view of a print as a DWG file rather than the complete print or needing to cut and paste the view to another sheet?
