The max diameter of the material is approx 4" and
approx 33" long. Part is NLA and the manufacturer.
It's in a dry area, so steel is fine , but
My question is , should I use 4140 HTSR or
C1144 stress proof ?

This part is going down deep in the North Atlantic (ie sea water)
The material looks like Delrin.
