I want to make 2 derived versions of a part out of one tool, by a core pin touching the textured cavity wall or not; so making a hole or not in an ABS part. Idea is to have no markings on the cavity side after a few tousands shots. does anybody has experience in this?

I need to glue a flat aluminum plate on an injection molded PC-Poly Carbonate- preferable with a double sided tape. The requirement is 70°C and 90%humidity.
I did tests with a NITO 5015 tape but as the PC-plastic isn't really flat the Al-plate comes loose on the corners, because of the stiffness...
