Did an inspection of some bollards yesterday and every bolt was damaged by corrosion to various degrees?
I'm thinking of stainless steel bolts for the remeidial spoecification? Has no one else thought of this? Surely not!!

I'm in the process of designing a bulkhead wall to contain recycled concrete rubble.
Has any one got any idea of the friction angle of recycled concrete. Intuition indicates 35 degrees. Am I being overconservative?
Would appreciate some comment.

Anyone got any data on the friction angle of raw coal. I'm designing a coal bunker wall for a cement works.
I'm assuming 35 degrees, conservatively. Maybe 40 degrees??

I have been approached by a waste process operator that mulchers / shreds green waste up to 100 mm diameter, down to a maximum size of 100 x 20 mm. The mulcher has not been well designed and requires modification to opertae more efficiently.
