Hi all, was wondering, as a newbie to UG, what do you feel is better to concentrate on learning solid modeling, or sheet modeling. Also, in what cases is it better to model using solid modeling and when better to use sheet (surfacing) modelling??
does any one know, some rough standard values (obviously they are different for each car) but of the pressure or velocity of the exhaust gas entering the manifold, also, the temperature, chemical composition, and turbulence values??

Hey all, how is the best way to create a angled arc. I.E, say the arc is created on the xy plane, but you wanted it to tilt in to the z axis aswell???

how do you create a spline from two or more points but you want it to end on an exsisting spline.
I.E, the dots are the points and the explamation mark is a vertical curved spline,

can some one help me, how would be best to create a nose cone (formula 1 style) would it be to create a cross section and extrude....if so, can you sweep with three guide line to get the profile of the cone?? thanks
