Can you use the code Temperature / pressure limits for valves manufactured from the above material if the valves are actually machined out of a solid forged bar?
This case is a 4"NB 1500# flanged valve.
My valve supplier state that it is acceptable?
Is there a method to define the use (or other wise) of Insulation gasket sets on flange bolts to combat corrosion, when making a flange joint with flanges manufactured from different metals.

How do I quantifly the allowable difference in temperature between the bottom of a 16"NB sch 10s st/stl pipe and the Top?
I am using a small flow of LNG to keep the line cool but do not want to use too much product by cooling down the pipe by more than is required.
I intend to use a 3D analysis...
