I'm trying to get a hold of information about the link types that are found in file desk. I have an assembly and most of the link types are "instance", obviously I understand what kind of link this is. The one that I can determine is a link of type "shape". Can any one help me out with this...
Does anybody now if there is a tool for patterning a part in an assembly. I know you can use the "Reuse pattern" constraint, but what if you don't have a pattern to use.

I have an assembly with 2 subassemblies. Each of these subs contains about 10 to 15 parts. The first sub is fixed while the second is position behind it. I can take the second sub assy and move it further back as long as I edit the connecting parts lengths in the first sub to accommodate for...
Does anyone know how to make it easier to select the red square on the compass for when your trying to move parts around in an assembly. It takes forever to get my mouse to select it. Thanks
I have a sheetmetal part that has a 6in bend radius on it. i have a hole that i want to pattern in one direction, along the edge, starting at the corner of say side a and working it's way around the radius to the other side, say side b. The problem is that becuase of my spacing and dimensions...
Does anybody know the syntax for creating a rule to hide/show a drafting view? I need to hide a detail view when a certain condition happens in my drawing and i don't know the syntax. thanks.

Is it possible to cut a view in half to save space on the sheet if it is symetrical? currently we are having to break the view on one side to hide as much of the geometry as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
